Workplace campaigns in 2021

Today we are recognizing the importance of workplace campaigns. This year we saw organized workplace campaigns through the Government of Canada’s Charitable Workplace Campaign and Yukon Workers Compensation Health and Safety Board.

Federal retirees and workers’ contributions were also joined by $3,864.00 raised from the 2021 CIRNAC auction featuring items provided by public servants within Crown Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs Canada.

The donations we received in 2021 will go towards are annual funding allocation in February 2022 to help Yukon non-profits deliver essential programs and projects that help make our community stronger and healthier.

Giving Tuesday is November 30th

Giving Tuesday is a global day of giving and unity that takes place on November 30, 2021. Canadians are being asked to join the movement by demonstrating the power of kindness and generosity.

Join the movement by showing your support for those in our community!

A great resource in Yukon is the Yukon Gives Facebook page.

This website is a project of CPAWS Yukon, a Whitehorse-based organization dedicated to protecting our wild spaces. It offers a way to connect with non-profits and charities across the Yukon.

Leading up to Giving Tuesday, they will highlight a range of organizations in our community.

Campaign update: Yukoners continue to amaze

The latest update to our fall and winter campaign, as of Nov. 19 2021, is that we are nearing $100,000 in donations from Yukoners! This funding will allow us to say “yes” to more projects and contribute more meaningfully to projects approved in our next round of allocations.

We are thankful to see our fundraising goals exceeded in 2021. Thank you for investing in your neighbours, your co-workers, your community.
